Heart Scotland West live
Heart Scotland is a regional radio station serving Central and Southern Scotland from studios in Glasgow city centre. This station is owned and operated by Global Radio as part of the Heart network.
Heart Scotland's former name was Scot FM and it began broadcasting in September 1994. In June 2001 the station was acquired by Guardian Media Group (GMG) and the station was relaunched as Real Radio Scotland. The station's name changed again, when Global Radio (the owner of stations such as Capital and Heart) bought GMG Radio in 2012 and two years later all Real Radio stations were rebranded as Heart.
Heart Scotland features Adult Contemporary music and produces and broadcasts local programing from Heart's Glasgow studios and networked programming from Global Radio's London headquarters.
